Member Bennett seconded the motion. <br /> The Council commented on the importance of maintaining the City's infrastructure to a standard <br /> that assured residents' health and safety. <br /> Rollcall: <br /> Ayes: Bennett, Brindle, Swenson, Hovland <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2009-49 ADOPTED APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT — EDINA <br /> PUBLIC SCHOOLS, COUNTRYSIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 5701 BENTON AVENUE <br /> Affidavits of Notice presented and ordered placed on file. <br /> Planner Presentation <br /> Planning Director Teague presented the request of Edina Public Schools for a Conditional Use <br /> Permit at Countryside Elementary School to increase the number of parking stalls on the east side <br /> and reconfigure the bus parking area. He advised the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District had <br /> approved the drainage plan and that landscaping to the south side was deemed acceptable. Mr. <br /> Teague stated with regard to lighting, a photometric was prepared that demonstrated compliance. <br /> Staff and the Planning Commission recommended approval of the application subject to six <br /> conditions as detailed in the draft resolution. The Council asked questions of staff about the <br /> application and continued review of the lighting plan. <br /> Page 2 <br />
