Bredesen, &+ Jr. <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETWOF THE <br />EDINA VILLAGE COUNCIL, HELD FKINDAY, <br />NOVEMBER 9, 1964, AT 5:OO P.M., AT <br />THE EDINA VILLAGE HALL <br />Members answering Rollcall were MacMillan, Rixe, Tupa, VanValkenburg and Bredesen. <br />LIQUOR STORE EQUIPMIBT. FIXTURES AND SERVICES BIDS CONSIDERED. <br />Affidavits of Publication in Edina-Morningside Courier and Construction Bulletin <br />of '!Advertisement for Bids: <br />which affidavits were approved as to form and ordered placed on file. <br />this advertisement, bids were taken November 9, 1964, at lltOO A.M. <br />of the two bids received were presented by the Manager as follows: <br />Inc., low bidder at $1'7,833.00; Display Fixtures, Inc. at $18,685.00, <br />Clerk presented <br />Liquor Store Equipment, Fixtures, and Services," <br />Pursuant to <br />Streater Fixtures, <br />Tabulation <br />. <br />Discussion followed with representatives of each firm presenting arguments as to <br />why each was deserving of the award. <br />walk-in cooler merchandising doors, with high bidder claimihg the low bid cooler would <br />require more space if doors were to meet the minimum 23" opening, thereby violating <br />the specificatir~ns. <br />way. <br />the November 21 completion date.
