Department of Taxation - Form No. 966 (Public Use) <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TAXATION <br />CONVEYANCE OF FORFEITED LANDS <br />(Issued pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 282.01, Subdivision 1) <br />THIS INDENTURE, made this 19th day of April 1963 , between the <br />State of Minnesota, as party of the first part, and Village of Edina, a <br />Minnesota Municipal Corporation , as party of the second part, WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described was duly forfeited to the State of Minnesota for the non- <br />payment of taxes, and, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 282.01, Subdivision 1, the party of the second <br />part has applied to the Commissioner of Taxation for the conveyance of lands hereinafter described to be <br />used by it exclusively for park purposes <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Hennepin <br />State of Minnesota, has recommended to the Commissioner of Taxation by resolution adopted on the <br />9th. day of April 19 63, that such conveyance be made, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, The State of Minnesota, pursuant to said laws and in consideration of the prem- <br />ises, does hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the party of the second part, forever, all the tracts <br />or parcels of land lying and being in the County of Hennepin State of Minnesota, <br />described as follows, to -wit: <br />(1) Unnumbered circular tract in Duggan Plaza; (2) Unnumbered irregular tract South <br />of Block 5 in Duggan Plaza; (3) Unnumbered irregular tract South :of Block 1 in Duggan <br />Plaza; Brookview Heights lst Addition, all as shown on and according to the plat on <br />file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hennepin County, Minnesota; <br />also <br />(4) Park and park approach and drainage wa7r in Block 7, Brookview Heights 2nd <br />Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the <br />Register of Deeds, Hennepin County, Minnesota, <br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances there- <br />unto belonging or in anywise appertaining, to the said party of the second part so long as it shall con- <br />tinue to use said land for the purposes aforesaid, and upon condition that if such use shall cease said <br />land shall revert to the party of the first part as provided by law. <br />IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the State of Minnesota, party of the first part, has caused this deed to <br />be executed in its name in the City of St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, the day and year first above <br />written. <br />i <br />In presence of: <br />If 76e <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />County of Ramsey <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ROLLAND F.
