<br />XCNUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE EDINA
<br />BOARD OF REVIEW, HELD TKURSDAY, JULY 14,
<br />1960 , AT 5:OO P.M., AT THE VILLAGE HALL.
<br />Neeting was convened at 5:OO P.M., with Village Trustees Beim, Tupa and VanValken-
<br />burg acting as the Board of Review. Mr. Beim presided.
<br />Clerk presented Affidavits of Publication and Posting of "Notice of Public Hearing",
<br />.which affidavits were approved as to form and ordered placed on file.
<br />Village Assessor Kearns presented his Books of Valuation, stating that while each
<br />Valuation has been entered therein, the Books are not yet totalled for a sunrmary
<br />of valuations. Nr. Wayne Johnson, Assistant County Supervisor of Assessments was
<br />present to explain to the Board the terms "Ruralf' 'and "All Other"; 'fAgricultural'~
<br />and "Non-Agriculture"; and asking, particularly that the Board review the "Rural"
<br />classification in Edina.
<br />No one appeared before the Board who considered himself aggrieved by the assessment,
<br />or who complained that the property of another is assessed too low; and, upon Mr.
<br />Johnson's statement that the meeting may be adjourned for not more than twenty days,
<br />Tupa moved for adjournment to Wednesday, August 3, 1960, at 5:OO P.M. Motion was
<br />seconded by VanValkenburg and carried. I
