<br />tested adoption of any amendment to Ordinance No, 151#,Nrr Olson on the
<br />grounds that "Ordinance No. 15lAis defective from Page 1 through Page 29
<br />and should be completely rewritten, rather than amended piecemealft, and Mrs,
<br />Wong on grounds that certain provisions of the ordinance are unreasonable,
<br />Mr, Olson pointed out to Council that in his opinion the amendment presented
<br />for action this evening will make'it necessary for Wong's Cafe to operate
<br />under the same standards as are required for Dayton's.

<br />Planning Commission, aqd before an audience of some 25 or 30 persons, Planning
<br />Director Hite presented to the ' Council the proposed ItPlanned Industrial District"
<br />amendment to the Village Zoning Ordinance,
<br />amendment will add a classification-that it w'ill in no way change the procedure
<br />now presccibed in the zoning ordinance for changing the zoning of any particular
<br />property, Referring to the t*Commercialtt classification contained in the present
<br />zoning ordinance, Nre Hite told Council that the Planning Commission would hope
<br />that any new petitions for industrial zoning will be directed toward this
<br />proposed new section, rather than the present section, Hr, Todd told Council
<br />that because of lack of a quorum at the last- Planning Commission Meeting, the
<br />Commission's formal recommendation is not yet available, but he is sure that
<br />the Commission will recommend the present draft, with, at most, a few minor
<br />to several neighborhood groups, and that additional meetings with such groups
<br />will be held during this next month. Mayor Bredesen opened meeting fo questions
<br />from the audience, but no questions were received,
