3/15/65 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR bEETING OF THE <br />EDINA VILLAGE COUNCIL, HELD MONDAY, MARCH 15, 1965, AT <br />THE EDINA VLLLAGE HALL <br />ROLLCALL was answered by Mac~lillan, Rixe, Tupa and VanValkenburg, serving as <br />Mayor Pro Tem. <br />MINUTES of March 1, 1965, were approved by Motion MacMillan, seconded by Tupa <br />and unanimously carried. <br />VALLEY ESTATES ADDITION IMPROVEMENTS APPROVED. WATERMAIN AND BITUMINOUS REPLACEMENT DISCUSSED. <br />Manager Hyde explained that total estimated cost for Woodland Road and Brookview <br />Ave, watermain and bituminous replacement was $38,313-69 and that the estimated <br />cost per lot was $l,197,30, The area proposed to be assessed includes Lots 5 <br />thru 13 inclusive; Lots 15 and 16; Lots 20 thru 38 inclusive, all in Colonial <br />Grove Addition; and Lots 18 and 19, Colonial Grove 2nd Addition. Dr. Bruce <br />Linderholm,.8 Woodland Road, stated that Lots 7 and 8 already have Village <br />water, Mrs, L. T, Gartner, 7-Woodland Road, stated that this was installed <br />when water was put in Wooddale Ave. and had gone through the Ward Lewis property. <br />He stated that Lots LO and 11 have adequate wells and that those owners also <br />would prefer not to have the improvement put in, <br />Road stated that he had not intended to connect.
