I ... journment was seconded by Trustee Courtney and carcied. <br />V Village Clerk <br />11 1241 67 <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br />EDINA VILLAGE EOUNCIL HELD AT VILLAGE HALL AT 5:OO P.M. <br />ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1967 <br />Members answering rollcall were Trustees Courtney, MacMillan, VanValkenburg and <br />Mayor Bredesen. <br />Mr. Hyde advised that this meet-ing had beeq called to consider the acquisj.tion of <br />the portion of the Mobil Service Station.site which is needed for the right-of-way <br />for the Grandview Service Road. Cost of the site was given at $61,000, including <br />$2.50 per square foot for the land and $48,000 for the building and business. Im- <br />provement hearing on this project will be held on December 4, 1967. <br />to hold assessment hearing in January, and. that the cost of the acquisition be <br />assessed against owners Harry Gustafson, Jerry Paulson and S.uper Valu,.all of whom <br />have signed a petition for grading and graveling and construction+of permanent <br />street surfacing in the Frontage Road on the south side of Vernon Avenue between <br />Enroth Addition and the. M.N. & S. Railroad. Following some discussion, Trustee <br />Courtney's motion authorizing execution of the purchase agreement in the amount of <br />$61,000 was seconded by Trustee MacMillan and on rollcall-there were four ayes and <br />no nays and the motion was carried. <br />It is proposed <br />Adjournment at 5:15. <br />c
