. <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULARMEETING OF THE <br />EDINA VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD AT VILLAGE HALL ON <br />MONDAY, AUGUST 16, 1971 <br />Members answering' rollcall were Councilmen Courtney, Johnson, Shaw and Mayor <br />Bredesen. <br />MINUTES of July 19 and August 2, 1971, were approved as submitted by motion of <br />Councilman Johnson,= with Councilman Shaw seconding the motion for approval of <br />the minutes of August 2 and Councilman Courtney seconding the motion for <br />approval of the minutes of July 19, 1971. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8110A13 GRANTED SECOND READING; PUBLICATION WITHHELD. Mr. Luce <br />presented Ordinance No. 811-A13 for Second Reading, which ordinance provides <br />for Planned.Residentia1 District (PRD-2) zoning for property owned by the <br />Kremer Corporation North of Fabri-Tek and East of Nine Mile Creek. <br />mended that Second Reading be granted contingent upon receipt of approved <br />declaration of covenants,' conditions and restrictions, dedication of land along <br />Nine Mile Creek, Approval of Nine Mile Creek Watershed District including <br />application of a crossing which would have to be made from Lincoln Drive to <br />the property in question. <br />son offered Ordinance No. 811-A13 for Second Reading,with the understanding <br />that publication be withheld until the conditions mentioned by Mr. Luce are <br />satisfied, and moved its adoption as follows: <br />He recom- <br />No objections were heard, whereupon Councilman John- <br />ORDINANCE NO. 811-A13 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE (NO. 811) <br />BY ADDING TO THE PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (PRD-2) <br />THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF EDINA, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS: <br />of Edina is amended by adding the following thereto: <br />by the addition of the following described property: <br />Section 1. <br />"The extent of Planned Residential District (PRD-2) is hereby enlarged <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section <br />31, Township 117, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as <br />beginning at a point on the East line of said Southwest Quarter of <br />Northwest Quarter distant 1990.84 feet South from the Northeast corner <br />of the Northwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter of said Section 31; thence <br />West a distance of 570.79 feet along a line which intersects the West <br />line of said Southwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter at a point 2006.89 <br />feet South from the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of said <br />Section 31; thence Southwesterly deflecting to the left 46' 56' 14" <br />a distance of 150 feet; thence Southerly along a tangential curve to <br />the left, said curve having a radius of 274.70 feet and a central angle <br />of 65' 00' an arc distance of 311.64 feet; thence Southeasterly and <br />tangent to said curve a distance of 121.80 feet; thence Southerly along <br />a tangential curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 260.78 <br />feet and a central angle.of 21' 42' 27'; an arc distance of 98.80; <br />thence Southerly to. a. point on the South line of said Southwest Quarter <br />of Northwest Quarter distant 650 feet East from the Southwest corner <br />of said Southwest Quarter of.Northwest Quarter; thence East along <br />. said South line to the East line of said Southwest Quarter of Northwest <br />Q-uarter; thence North along said East line to the point of beginning." <br />Sec. 2. Mr. Luce presented Ordinance No. <br />811-A16 for Second Reading, which ordinance provides for zoning change from <br />R-1 Residential District to Planned Industrial District for property located <br />generally at 5537-5605 County Road 18, as requested by Prestige Development. <br />No objections being heard, Councilman.Johnson offered Ordinance No. 811-A16 <br />for Second Reading and moved its adoption as follows: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 811-A16 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE (NO. 811) <br />BY ADDING TO THE PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT <br />THE VILLAGE.COUNCIL OF EDINA, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS: <br />is amended by adding the following thereto: <br />Section 1. Paragraph 2 of Section 10 of Ordinance 811 of the Village
