k MINUTES OF THE REGULARMEETING OF THE <br />EDINA VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD AT VILLAGE HALL ON <br />MONDAY, OCTOBBR'Z, 1972 . <br />Members answering rollcall were Councilmen Courtney, Johnson, Shaw, Van <br />Valkenburg and Mayor Bredesen. <br />MINUTES of September 14 and 18., 1972, were approved as submitted by motion of <br />Councilman Van Valkenburg, seconded by Councilman Courtney and carried. <br />1973-BUDGET ADOPTED. <br />which had been revised to reflect a property tax levy of 20.22 mills, com- <br />pared with a 1972 levy of 20.98 mills. Mr. Hyde called Council's attention <br />to an advisory which had been received from the Minnesota League of Munici- <br />palities stating that the estimate received from Governor Anderson as to the <br />amount proposed to be received from the Federal Revenue Sharing program was an <br />estimate only, with no assurance that the $160,000 estimated could be counted <br />on definitely. As recommended by Mayor Bredesen, Councilman Johnson then <br />offered the following resolution and moved its adoption with the understand- <br />ing that adjustments could be made before October 10 if these funds should be <br />forthcoming : <br />Discussion was held regarding the proposed 1973 Budget I <br />.P <br />I RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET FOR THE VILLAGE OF EDINA <br />FOR.THE YEAR 1973, AND ESTABLISHING TAX IEW FOR THE' <br />YEAR 1972 PAYABLE IN 1973 <br />THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF EDINA, MINNESOTA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
