188 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />EDINA VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD AT VI'LLAGE HALL ON <br />AUGUST 20, 1973 <br />Members answering rollcall were Councilmen Courtney, Johnson, Shaw and Van <br />Valkenburg who served as Mayor Pro Tem in the absence of Mayor Bredesen. <br />.JQXU'&S of July 16, 1973, were approved as submitted. Minutes of August 6, <br />1973, were approved to reflect that Councilman Shaw had seconded the motion <br />pertaining to the retaining wall on Lot 2, Block 2, Braemar-Hills Fifth Addi- <br />tion. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS CONDUCTED ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS. Affidavits of Notice were <br />presented by Clerk, approved as to form and ordered placed on file. Pursuant to <br />due notice given, public hearings were conducted and action taken as hereinafter I <br />set forth: <br />A. ALUY IMPROVEMENT NO.
