k <br />~ MINUTSS 03' T€LE REGULARMEETXNG OF PKE <br />EDINA VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD AT VILLAGE HALL ON <br />SEPTEMBER 10, * 1973 <br />Members answering rollcall were Councilmen Courtney, Johnson, Shaw, Van Valken- <br />burg and Mayor Bredesen. <br />MINUTES of Augu.st 20, 1973, were approved as submitted by motion of Councilman <br />Johnson, seconded by Councilman Shaw and carried. <br />FIRE FIGHTER ALLEN ROTHE RECOGNIZED BY AMERICAN RED CROSS. <br />quist, chairman of the Safety Program for the Hennepin County Chapter of the <br />American Red Cross, presented a Certificate of Meillit Award to Fire Fighter Allen <br />Rothe for saving the life of a child on August 29, 1972. <br />Mr. Alton J. Berg- <br />1974 BUDGET PRESENTED. <br />whereupon a Public Budget Meeting was announced which will <br />Wednesday, September 12, at 4:OO p.m. in the Conference Room. <br />The 1974 Recommended Budget was presented to Council, <br />be held on <br />ORDINANCE NO. 811-A43 ADOPTED ON SECOND READING. Advising that Lots 1 and 2, <br />McCauley Heights Third Addition are in an area of other R-2 dwellings, Mr. Luce <br />presented Ordinance No. 811-A43 for Second Reading. Councilman Shaw thereupon <br />offered Ordinance No. 811-A43 for Second Reading and moved its adoption as <br />follows : <br />ORDINANCE NO. 811-A43 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE (NO. 811) <br />BY ADDING TO THE MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT <br />Paragraph 1 of Section 4 of Ordinance No. 811 of the Village is <br />THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF-EEDINA, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS: <br />amended by adding the following thereto: <br />of the following properties : <br />Section 1. <br />"The extent of the Multiple Residence District is enlarged by the addition <br />Lots 1 and 2, Block 4, McCauley Heights Third Addition, which is in Sub- <br />District R-2". <br />Sec. 2. Mr. Luce presented Ordinance No. <br />811-A44 for Second Reading, advising that the proposed zoning would reflect the <br />image of zoning on the corresponding lot across the railroad tracks.
