BIINUTES OF TNE <br />EDINA CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />HELD AT CITY HALL ON MONDAY <br />JUNE 17, 1974 <br />%swering rollcall were Council Members Courtney, Johnson, Schmidt, Shaw and Hayor <br />Van Valkenburg. <br />WATERMAIN IMPROVEBENT P-IM-287 ABANDONED. As recommended by Nr. Dunn, Councilman <br />Johnson's motion was seconded by Councilman Courtney and carried, that Watermain <br />Improvement No. P-IM-287 be abandoned. Nr. Dunn said that this recommendation is <br />being made because the right-of-way problems cannot be straightened out at this <br />time. <br />PARKING LOT GRADING P-P-2 CONTINUED'TO JULY 1, 1924. As recommended by Mr. Dunn, <br />Councilman Shawls motion was seconded by Councilman Courtney and carried that <br />Parking Lot Grading Improvement P-P-2 be continued to July 1, 1974. <br />OERTEL FIRST ADDITION GRANTED PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL. <br />were presented by Clerk, approved as to form and,ordered placed on file. <br />presented Oertel First Addition for preliminary plat approval, advising that this <br />property is generally located South of Waterman Avenue, North of Interlachen Blvd., <br />and Vest of ,Ridge Road, and that the staff and Planning Commission had recommended <br />approval contingent on receipt of 5% parkland dedication. T.n.r&sponse to a question <br />of Nr. Hyde, Mr. Luce said that the cul-de-sac proposed in the plat would not neces- <br />sitate a cul-de-sac on the property to the South when that property is subdivided. <br />No objections being heard, Councilman Courtney offered the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />Affidavits of Notice <br />Mr. Luce <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT OF <br />OERTEL FIRST ADDITION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Edim City Council that that certain plat entitled "Oertel <br />First Addition", platted by Fritz Oertel and presented at the Edina City Council <br />Meeting of JuAe 17, 1974, be and is hereby granted preliminary plat approval. <br />Motion for adoption of the resolution was seconded by Councilman Johnson and on <br />rollcall there were five ayes and no nays and the resolution was adopted. <br />BLAKE RIDGE ADDITION GnANTED PRELININARY PLAT APPROVAL. Affidavits of Notice <br />were presented by Clerk, approved as to form and ordered placed on file.
