I <br />MINUTES OF THE CONTINUED MEETING OF THE <br />HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 1974, AT 4:OO P.M. <br />EDINA BOARD OF pEVIBW <br />Council members Courtney, Schmidt,, Shaw and Mayor Van HallcenEurg servkd as the <br />Board of Review for the meeting continued from June 11, 1974. Mr. Ralph John- <br />son of the Assessing Department appeared to advise Council of the following <br />action: lr <br />. <br />The Assessor's office recommends reduction in the value of the property of Mr. <br />Kenneth Barklind,l 4720 Valley View Road from $49,900 to $44,200. Mr. John- <br />son said that Mr, Barklind has conccrred with this recommended adjustment. <br />The Asscissor's office. requests that more time be given for consideration of <br />the York Circle Apartments of Mr. Gene Rancone at 7300 York Ave. S. Mr. Ran- <br />.cone has indicated that he will appear at the next meeting of the Board of <br />Review and does not want the Board to take any action at this meeting. <br />Mr. Johnson recommended that the Terrance Korupp property at 6200 Creek <br />Valley Road be considered at the next Board of Review meeting which will be <br />held after Mr. Swanson returns. <br />I <br />1'* 0 00 pzr u u <br />llr. Johnson recommended that the market value of the Arnold Yeinberg property <br />at 6208 Crest Lane be reduced from the original valuation of $67,200 to <br />$62,500. He said that Mr. yeinberg had concurred with this recommendation. <br />Mr. Johnson advised Council that Mr. John B. HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 25, 1974, AT 5:OO'P.M. <br />EDINA BOARD OF REVIEW -. <br />Council members Courtney, Schmidt, Shaw and Mayor Van Valkenburg served as the <br />Board of Review for the meeting continued from June 18, 1974. <br />Mr. Swanson said that Mr. Rancone had said that he had no additional remarks <br />to make to Council relative to the value placed on his Ycjzktown Circle Apart- <br />ments at 7300 Yorlc Avede, but that he had requested that Council consider his <br />viewpoints which were expressed at the meeting of June 11, 1974. Mr. Swanson <br />said that he had adjusted the value on the apartments from the original 1974 <br />appraisal of $3,350,000 to a market value of $2,850,000 prior to Board consid- <br />eration and would recommend this figure. <br />Mr. Swanson said that he had made an adjustment on the property of Mr. and Mrs. <br />Terrence J. Korrupp at 6200 Greek Valley Road from the original valuation of <br />$56,300 to $48,800 and that this valuation was in conformance with the valuation <br />of the other school units which had been sold by the School Districts. <br />I <br />Councilman Courtney then moved that the findings of the Assessof be accepted <br />as follows: <br />No revision was made in the following requests for reduction of valuations: <br />Mr. Eugene Rancone 7300 thru 7350 York Ave. S, $2,850,000 <br />Mr. & Mrs. Terrance Korrupp 6200 Creek Valley Road 48,800 <br />Y <br />b
