163 <br />MINUTES <br />OF THE REGULARMEETING OF THE <br />,, EDINA CITY COUNCIL HELD AT CITY HALL / <br />SEPTEMBER 20, 1982 <br />Answering rollcall were Members Bredesen, Richards, Schmidt, Turner and Mayor <br />Courtney. <br />WELLNESS WEEK/EMPLOYEE HEALTH DAY PROCLAMATION ISSUED. <br />following proclamation: <br />Mayor Courtney iss.ued the <br />_- <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, there is an increasing awareness on the part of individuals of the need <br />to assume greater responsibility for their own well being and greater involvement <br />in health care decision making; and <br />WHEREAS, health promotion and wellness are practical, promising and beneficial <br />approaches to curbing the upward spiral of health care costs; and <br />WHEREAS, Albert H. Quie, Governor of the State of Minnesota, has proclaimed <br />October 3 through October 9, 1982, to be Wellness Week; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Edina City Council does hereby proclaim October 3 through <br />October 9, 1982, to be <br />and October 7, 1982 to be <br />in the City of Edina, Minnesota. <br />Member Bredesen recalled the dedication of the Vita Course around Lake Cornelia <br />and Mr. Rosland described activities which will take place in connection with <br />WELLNESS WEEK <br />EMPLOYEE HEALTH DAY 4 0 a 7 <br />Employee Health Day. Mr. Rosland presented Analysis of Assess- <br />ment for Watermain Improvement No. WM-345 showing total construction cost of <br />$12,514.96, proposed to be assessed against 8 assessable lots at $1,564.37, <br />against estimated assessment of $1,509.89. <br />Sewer Improvement No. SS-360 was given showing total construction cost of <br />$28,959.04, proposed to be assessed against 8 assessable lots at $3,619.88 per <br />lot, against estimated assessment of $4,630.74 per assessable lot.
