BA-249, SS-292 AND WM-258. <br />Affidavits of Notice were presented by Clerk, approved as to form and ordered <br />placed on file for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. SS-292 and Watermain Improve- <br />ment No. WM-258. <br />and action taken as herein recorded. 1. CONSTRUCTION OF STBET IMPROVEMENT NO. BA-249 IN THE FOLLOWING:' <br />Dewey Hill Road from Gleason Road to Delaney Blvd. <br />Mr. Hoffman recalled that this Assessment Hearing had been continued from the <br />Council Meeting of Sept. 20, 1982, so that the staff could look into the ease- <br />ment on Lot 18, Block l, Dewey Hill Addition and possibly set up a policy for <br />assessment of this type of lot. He recalled that it has been the policy of <br />the City to assess for 1/3 of the side or rear lot footage unless it is an <br />irregular shaped lot. In that case, the City Council may set what they believe <br />to be an appropriate assessment for the irregular lot in question. <br />Hjermstad, 7460 Shannon Dr., owner of Lot 18, Block 1, Dewey Hill Addition, again <br />protested the proposed assessment and reiterated remarks made at the Council <br />Meeting of September 20, 1982. Giving consideration to the private easement and <br />the reduction (because of the easements) of the assessment from that resulting <br />from the normal policy, Member Schmidt moved that the assessment be levied on <br />the basis of 11'6 of the footage abutting Dewey Hill Road for Lots 18 and 19, <br />Block 1, Dewey Hill Addition. <br />mously carried. <br />2: CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-292 <br />WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT NO. WM-25 8. <br />- <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT NO. BA-249 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by <br />1. <br />assessment rolls for the improvements hereinafter referred to, and at such <br />hearings held on October 4, 1982, has considered all oral and written objections <br />presented against the levy of such assessments. <br />2. Subject to the amendments made in paragraph 3 of this resolution, each of <br />the assessments 2s set forth in the asseksment rolls on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk for Improvements Nos. BA-249, SS-292 and WM-258 does not exceed <br />the local benefits conferred by said improvements upon the lot, tract or parcel <br />of land so assessed, and all of said assessments are hereby adopted and con- <br />firmed as the proper assessments on account of said respective improvements to <br />be spread against the benefited lots, parcels and tracts of land described <br />therein. <br />3. <br />18 and 19, Block 1, Dewey Hill Addition are to be assessed on the bases if 1/6 <br />of the footage abutting Dewey Hill Road. <br />4.
