Call To Order <br />Chair Richman called the meeting to order <br /> <br />II. Roll Call <br />Answering roll call were Commissioners Ahler, Kane, Olson, Plumb-Smith, Richman, Ruthruff, Scherer, <br />Venell <br />Late: Commissioner Johnson <br />Absent: Commissioner Erickson, McCarthy <br /> <br />III. Approval Of Meeting Agenda <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Kane and seconded by Commissioner Ahler to approve <br />the agenda. All voted aye. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. Approval Of Meeting Minutes <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Ahler and seconded by Commissioner Olson approving <br />the August 15, 2019 meeting minutes. All voted aye. Motion carried. <br /> <br />V. Community Comment <br />Robert Have of 6235 Parnell Avenue said that traffic control should be considered along West 66th <br />Street from Highway 100 to Valley View Road and said it has become like a mini crosstown. He is <br />concerned someone is going to get hurt or killed. He has lived there for 27 years and said the traffic <br />has only gotten worse in the last couple of years. There is a Lake Cornelia online group that he <br />reached out to and received lot of similar feedback from residents in the area. He has encouraged <br />them to reach out to Nick. He would like to see a crosswalk sign on West Shore Drive and a stop light <br />or stop sign to slow traffic. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson arrived at 7:10pm. <br /> <br />VI. Reports/Recommendations <br /> <br />A. Traffic Safety Report <br />Commissioners reviewed the traffic safety report from August 27, 2019 and recommended no changes. <br /> <br />B. 2019 Work Plan Updates <br /> #1 Proposed draft ordinance will be available in October. <br /> #4 North loop launched Friday, September 13 <br /> #5 Meeting scheduled with Heidi and GIS bus data requested from Metro Transit
