RESOLUTION VACATING ALLEY
WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of the land abutting on
the alley hereinafter described, in the Village ofEdina, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, have petitioned for the vacation of said alley;
and
WHEREAS two weeks' published and posted notice of a hearing
to be had on said petition September 22, 1952, at 7:30 P.M., has
been given and made, and a hearing has been had thereon by the
Village Council:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Edina Village Council,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, that
That portion of the North -South Alley lying between
Beard and Abbott Avenues and between W.56th and W.57th
Streets which is located South of a line extended
Westerly along the South Lot Line of Lot One, Block
Eight, Brookline Addition, is hereby vacated; provided
that the Village of Edina excepts from t his vacation
proceeding and reserves unto itself and its assigns an
easement for all public utility purposes, including,
without limiting the general nature of said reservation,
anct easement for electric, gas, sewer, water and tele-
phone equipment, on, over, and under the center ten feet
in width of the alley hereby vacated.
Passed the Edina Village Council this 22ndday of September , 1952.
