WHEREAS, petition of a majority of the owners of real property abutting
that portion of Benton Avenue described as follows:
"Commencing at a point on the North line of Benton Avenue as shown
on the plat of Edina Heigkits, said point being five feet East of
the SEE corner of lot 8, Block 2 in said plat, thence SWly along a
curve tangent to said North Line of Benton Avenue and having a
radius of 240.81 a distance of 117.82• to a point of reverse
curve; thence Sally along a reverse curve having a radius of 155.61
a distaned of 75.221 to a paint on the extension southerly of the
West line of Lot 7, Block 2 in said plat; thence Korth along said
extended line 45.251 to the SW corner of said Lot 7; thence E.
along the N. line of Benton Avenue as shown on said plat of Edina
Heights to the point of beginnings"
has been duly filed with the Village Council; and said Council has met
at the time and place specified in a notice duly published and posted and
has heard all interested persons, and it appears in the interest of the
public that said poi -tion of said street be vacated, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Edina that that
portion of Benton Avenue hereinbefore described be and is hereby vacated.
Dated this 9th day of February, 1953.
