Phase 5 - Project Goals/Objectives
1)Extend the existing Promenade path system , which currently terminates at 70th Street ,
to Southdale.
2)Provide a pedestrian and bicyclist path system that interlinks the
developments in the Centennial Lakes, Promenade, and Southdale districts, as
well as the uses located north of 66th Street.
3)Provide a connection to the new Transit Center.
4)Provide a connection, if feasible, to the residential neighborhoods located
north of Highway 62.
5)Incorporate the existing Promenade design themes into the expanded pathway system.
6)Provide distinct identity and way finding elements for the Promenade path system.

•Materials include: colored concrete, scored
concrete, asphalt & brick paver
•Bike routes vary from shared to dedicated paths
•Configurations include: separate paths, adjacent
paths & shared paths
