Fleeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M.
Members present - Messrs. Strachauer, Lewis, and Scoggin
A mot on was unanimously passed apI�roving payment of back taxes of $16.60
for purchase of deed for Lot A - Skyline Addition. A motion was made to defer
action on consideration of lots A B C - Hilldale Addition.
Phil Bailey reported progress on skating rinks and warning houses.
Ted Greer and the Park Board met relative to an agreement that was made in
which Mr. Greer, who is athletic teacher at the Edina High School, would
give his time to the boys who were not on the hockey team, while and after
his team practiced at the 52nd and Arden skating rink. This agreement
was made so the smaller boys and also the ones not on the hockey teams
would have a chance to use the rink and also get some coaching. 'i7 hours
during the holidays will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 AM. During sct.00l
days, from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M.
The Park Board can obtain from the state seedling trees for planting in the
parks and playgrounds. A motion mas made by Mr. Strachauer to obtain from
the State 2,000 Spruce, Pines, and Cedars. The motion was seconded by Mr.
Scoggin. A motion was moved and passed to obtain 5 - 10 thousand seedlings
under the regular contract.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 P4M•
