Know a// men by these present;- that we, George 6. Howe and Alice M. Howe husband and wife, owners
and proprietors of the following described property situated in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota,
that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of .section /9, Township 28 North, Range 24
West of the 4-4 P.M. beginning at the Northwest corner of the east 20 acres thereof thence West a/onq
the North line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 160.0 feet thence South
and parallel with the West line of said east 20 acres a distance of 219.6 feet thence in a Northwesterly
direction /2.13 feet along a line drown to a point which measures 207.63 feet South of the North line
Of said 50ufhwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and 240.0 feet West of the West line of the
said east 20 acres, thence south parallel with and 172.0 feet West of the West line of the said
east 20 acres a distance of 193.73 feet to the Northerly line of traveled road (6211-4 Street so called)
now known as valley View Road, thence Soulheaslerly along. said Road a distance of 177.74 feet to
the West line of the said east 20 acres, thence Northerly along the said West line of the said
east 20 acres of the southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 424.54 feet to the
place of beginning.
And Clara Welch a widow, mortgagee, of that part of the .5W4 of the SWof Section 19,
Township 28 North, Range 24 West of the 4-" P.M. described as follows;
Beginning at a point on the North line of the said 60/4 of the 50/4 distant 172.0 feet westerly from
Me Northwest corner of the east 20 acres of said SWC of the SW=; thence southerly para!/e/ with the
east line of said 5W4 of the SW4 a distance of 275.0 feet to the actual point of beginning of tract
to be described; thence continuing southerly along said last described line to the northerly line of
traveled road (62,s -d Street so called) now known as Valley View Road, thence southeasterly along said
Road to a point distant 92.0 feet west from the west line of the east 20 acres of said 5W4 of SW;
thence northerly parallel with the easterly line of said 5W4 of the swa to a point 275.0 feet South of
the north line of said SW4 of the SW4 ; thence westerly 80.0 feet to the point of actual beginning of
tract herein described, and being lot 5 of annexed plat.
Nave caused the same to be surveyed and platted as "HOWE'S ADDITION" Hennepin County, Minnesota,
and do hereby donate and dedicate to the public for public use forever the road, street, and
avenue as shown on the annexed plot and subject to the easements for public utilities as shown
on said plat.
