Staunton asked the convener of each group to share their questions —
Transportation — Larry Chestler
1. School District bus garage issue.
2. Experience with mass transit / Park & Ride
Public Realm — Kim Montgomery
1. How would you help us prioritize.
2. How are the community wants and needs determined
3. How would you interpret principle #1 and shape the process.
4. How would you interpret the needs of the community?
5. How would you interpret facility needs?
6. Looking at the City as a whole — how would you shape public land?
Financial/Market Analysis — Lisa Diehl
1. What ability do you have in working with other government agencies?
2. Are the people indicated in the proposals the ones that we will interview? Or will
others show up?
Land Use - Peyton Robb
1. Who's going to be on the team?
2. Sustainable design — how to incorporate into public space — balance with market
analysis — does it bring value to district and community. Create leverage
opportunities. Vision of how it will unfold down the road. Milestones.
Lisa Diehl commented that it would be helpful to develop a rating or scoring matrix.
When interviewing the candidates. Kevin Staunton agreed. Diehl said she would
continue to work further on interview questions and would forward them to Staunton.
Staunton said he would be talking/meeting with Cary Teague on Friday and they would
go over the questions, etc. for Monday and Tuesdays interview sessions.
Staunton also noted if anyone thinks of further questions to please forward them to your
convener who can forward them to Teague or me.
