Interview Consultants
I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Olsen called the session to order at 3:30 P.M.
II. ROLL CALL
Answering the roll call were: Hobbs, Lee, Strauss, Nemerov, Mahilton, Bennett Berube, Olsen
Staff Present: Cary Teague, City Planner, Kris Aaker, Assistant Planner, Jackie Hoogenakker,
Support Staff
III. CONSULTANT INTERVIEWS
Chair Olsen explained that Members of the Planning Commission would be interviewing three
candidates that were chosen as finalists for the position as Comprehensive Plan Consultant.
The three chosen would present their proposal to the Commission and stand for a question
and answer period.
The candidates were as follows:
• Cunningham Group
• BIKO Associates
• Kimley Horn
Cunningham Group
Andrew Dresdner, Cunningham Group Architecture, Inc. Project Manager
John Shardlow, Stantec, Principal in Charge
Rose Ryan, Alta Planning + Design
Thomas Leighton, Tangible Consulting Services
The group presented their proposal and stood for questions.
BIKO Associates
Bill Smith, BIKO Associates
Haila Maze, Bolton & Menk
Janna King, Economic Development Services, Inc.
Dan Edgerton, Zan Associates
Dan Cornejo, Cornejo Consulting
Bob Close, Bob Close Studio
The group presented their proposal and stood for questions.

The group presented their proposal and stood for questions.
IV. DISCUSSION/WRAP UP/ADJOURNMENT
The Commissioners discussed the merits of each group and came to a decision.
Planner Teague said he would notify the chosen candidate tomorrow (December 15th) and if
the candidate accepts; schedule a meeting with the City Council for confirmation.
Meeting was adjourned at 6:I5 P.M.
