HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2017-030 Approving a Preliminary & Final Plat Gateway Pointe 4� �y RESOLUTION NO.2017-30 APPROVING A PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT AT 3200 SOUTHDALE CIRCLE I BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edina,Minnesota,as follows: Section 1. BACKGROUND. j 1.01 Doran Companies are proposing to Plat their property located at 3200 Southdale Circle 6612 Xerxes Avenue and 3101 West 66th Street.The purpose of the request is to combine these three parcels into one lot to accommodate their approved apartment project known as Gateway Pointe. 1.02 The owner of the described land desires to Plat said tract into the following described new parcel described as follows: Lots 1,Block 1,Doran-KM2 Southdale First Addition. 1.03 On March 8, 2017 the Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the Plat on a Vote of 8-0. i Section 2. FINDINGS 2.01 Approval is based on the following findings: j 1. The proposed subdivision meets the required standards and ordinance for a subdivision. I 2. The resulting uses on Lot 1 meet all zoning ordinance requirements. i i Section 3. APPROVAL NOW THEREFORE,it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Edina,approves the Preliminary&Final Plat as proposed by Doran Companies at 3200 Southdale Circle.
