OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
EDINA CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT CITY HALL
JUNE 27, 2017
9:01 P.M.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Hovland called the meeting to order at 9:01 p.m.
II. ROLLCALL
Answering rollcall were Members Brindle, Fischer, Staunton, Stewart, and Mayor Hovland.
111. MEETING AGENDA APPROVED
Member Fischer made a motion, seconded by Member Brindle, approving the meeting
agenda as presented.
Ayes: Brindle, Fischer, Staunton, Stewart, Hovland
Motion carried.
IV. PROPOSED SALE OF AND REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR 3925, 3930 AND 3944
MARKET STREET
The Mayor noted the City Council also needed to take action on the proposed sale and Redevelopment
Agreement for 3925, 3930, and 3944 Market Street as was just done by the Edina HRA at their meeting
immediately preceding the City Council meeting. Member Staunton made a motion, seconded by
Member Brindle, to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a Redevelopment
Agreement substantially similar to that provided to the Council, and all other related
documents specified in the Redevelopment Agreement.
Ayes: Brindle, Fischer, Staunton, Stewart, Hovland
Motion carried.
V. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business on the Council Agenda, Mayor Hovland declared the meeting adjourned
at 9:03 p.m.
