Dear Ms. Hallberg:
The Rauenhorst Corporation is interested in having the City of Edina
vacate a portion of Old County Road 62 located west of County Road 18.
The specific area is shown in yellow on the aerial photo copy accompany-
ing this letter. (See Figure #1). The reason for the vacation is to allow
Rauenhorst to proceed with the development plan for the Data 100 project
located in Minnetonka. (See Figure #2).
We have to date been successful in obtaining tentative vacation of a portion
of Old County Road 62 located in Minnetonka. The vacation will become
final once we've completed roads currently under construction to the west
of the site.
The development plan (Figure #2) indicates how the land will be reincorpor-
ated with the Data 100 site once vacation of the segment of Old #62 has been
finalized.
I would appreciate being advised on how we should proceed in submitting an
application and having Edina process, review, and ultimately, grant this
requested vacation.
