RE: Vacation of part of Brookside Avenue
in the plat of Grand View Heights
Dear Ms Hallberg
The Minnesota Gas Company herein objects to the vacation of the area
described above, unless the resolution vacating said area specifies,
as authorized by M.S.A. 1.60.29., that the vacation does not affect the
authority of the Minnesota Gas Company to continue to maintain (etc.)
its gas mains located within a part of' the: area to be vacated. The
vacation resolution should specify that the Minnesota Gas Company has
the authority to enter upon the following described premises for the.
purpose of maintaining (etc.) its gas main, to wit:
The West 30 feet of all that part -of Brookside Avenue, as
shown on the.plat of Grarid'View Heights, on file and of record
in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, which lies between the Easterly extension across
Brookside Avenue of the South line of Tract C, Registered
Land Survey No. 1393, Files of the Registrar of Titles,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, and the extension across Brookside
Avenue of the South line of Hopkins Road,.as shown on said
plat of Grand View Heights.
A copy of the language which we suggest be used in this regard in the
resolution vacating the area is attached.
