It was also nice of you to include Vince. Collectively, your comments gave me a good f ide range of park maintenance sense of a w issues our community and, specifically, as ice rink management. they relate to I particularly appreciate your willingness to seek a solution to the Walnut Ridge hockey rink issues. The compt m Sewe our discussed is acceptable to us. understanding that, through the scheduling of the rink maintenance personnel, resurfacing of the Walnut Ridge rinks will not occur prior to 7.00 a.m., except during the initial base building period in the first two weeks of December. At that time, fogging and flooding will be done without using the hockey rink lights and heavy equipment will be used only if required due to snowfall conditions. JEFFREY R. For example: An issue goes to the Park Board from a citizen group. The Park Board or Art Center Board reviews the issue and makes a recommendation to the City Council for approval or disapproval of the activity or policy. The issue is presented to the Council by either the Park and Recreation Director. If the Council approves the policy, they recommend the City Manager to recommend implementation of the program or policy by the Park and Recreation Director.
