APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT
FOR MARKET STREET
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edina,Minnesota,as follows:
Section 1. BACKGROUND.
1.01 The City of Edina and Edina Market Street LLC are requesting to combine and Plat the
properties that make up the Edina Market Street Project located on both the north and south
side of Market Street(formerly known as 49-1/2 Street). The purpose of the request is to
combine all the parcels within the development to have clear legal descriptions.
1.02 The owner of the described land desires to Plat said tract into the following described new
parcel described as follows:
Lot 1,Block 1,Market Street&Lot 1, Block 2, Market Street.
1.03 On October 25, 2017 the Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the
Plat on a Vote of 7-0.
Section 2. FINDINGS
2.01 Approval is based on the following findings:
1. The proposed subdivision meets the required standards and ordinance for a
subdivision.
2. The resulting uses meet all zoning ordinance requirements.
Section 3. APPROVAL
NOW THEREFORE,it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Edina,approves
the Preliminary Plat as proposed.
