HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION NO. 2017-139
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRANSFER OF PROPERTY
AT S 146 EDEN AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of property located at 5146 Eden Avenue legally described
in the attached Exhibit"A" (the "Subject Property");
WHEREAS, the City finds that the transfer of the Subject Property is in its best interest;
WHEREAS, the City has proposed to transfer the Subject Property to the Edina Housing and
Redevelopment Authority ("HRA"); and
WHEREAS, the Edina Planning Commission has considered this conveyance on June 14, 2017
and approved Resolution 2017-02; and
WHEREAS, the proposed conveyance of the Subject Property has no relationship to the
City's Comprehensive Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edina:
. The transfer of the Subject Property to the HRA is approved.
2. The City Council finds that the transfer of the Subject Property to the HRA has no
relationship to the Comprehensive Plan.
3. The requirements of Minn. Stat. §462.356 are hereby dispensed with as the same relate
to the transfer of the Subject Property from the City to the HRA or its approved
assignee.
4. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all
documents as necessary to complete the sale transaction.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5146 EDEN AVENUE
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10; the East 90 feet of Lots I I to 19 inclusive; all in
Block 2, "Grand View Heights".
That part of Government Lot 8, Section 28,Township 117, Range 21, lying North
of the center line of Eden Avenue and East of a line drawn parallel to the main
track of the Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway from a point on the
North line of said Government Lot 8 distant 582 feet East from the Northwest
corner of said Government Lot 8.
