The Dan Patch corridor runs north-south through Edina just west of Minnesota Highway 100. Through a combination of public input and analysis of existing conditions and policies, the Transportation Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council in September regarding future study of passenger rail in Edina. On Tuesday, July 25, the City and its project consultant will host the first of two community conversations on this topic. The conversation will be held at the Public Works & Park Maintenance Facility, 7450 Metro Blvd. All are welcome to drop in at any time between 5 and 7 p.m. to view information boards and participate in discussion tables with project staff and other members of the community. To learn more about the project, visit the project website, EdinaMN.gov/passenger-rail-report. An online survey will also be available to provide input for those unable to attend the community conversation. -30-
