A special meeting of the Counuil of the Village
of Edina, was held at the home of President XcGuire at 8 PM on April. 6Qh. 1929.
The meeting was called to order ‘by President ElrcGufre, with
all members of the Council present except Trustee Reimann.
Recorder Elloore offered the following resolution /
VHERXAS, the Counaif of the Village of Edina, did
by resolution dated November 10th. 1928, approve such legislation pertaining to ZONING which would
amend the present zoning law applying to first class oities in order to permit all sther cities and towns to pass zoning ordiancesP

bill known as )iE’ 72 pertaining to zoning.
A&TD lVHEREAS, it is proposed to amend said bill by re-
quiring thatbefore any Zoning Ordiance is passed by
.the Governing body of any City or Tom, that the prop- osition first receive a majority vote of the voters

Edina, that any such amendment mould be acceptable to the present Council. of this Village,
t of s&id Town or City, at a special or regular el6ctiori.
The vote being u on the adoption of tkze resolution wherein
these were fbns i! a) ayes and no nays as follows- NcGuire Aye,
Prencott Aye, Willson Aye, Bhoore Aye,
