HENAEPIN COUNTY, MINNE@OTA, HELD DECEMBER !?'j 1931, IN GRANGE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Edina, Hennepin County,' Ninnesota, wa4 duly held in Grange Hall in the Village of Edina on the 7th day of December, 1931, at 8 otclock P. M. The following members. were present: XcGuire, Moore, Reimann, and Prescot$,and the followicg were absent: Trustee Willson. Trustee Reimann offered the following resolution and moved its adopt ign: WPEREAS, the Council of the Village of Edina has heretofor6 entered into a contract for the construction of sanitary sewers in Lateral Sewer Districts 1 and 2 of said Village and has caused special assessments to be duly levied upon the property benefited by said sewers in the manner provided by law, and WHEREAS, it is necessary and expedient iSn order to defray the costs and expenses hereto. incurred and ta be incurred in connect ion with the construction of said sewers, including all expenses incidental thereto, to issue and sell the sewer warrants of said Village pursuant to Chapter 35 Laws of Minnesota for 1915 and Acts Amendatory thereof and Supplemental thereto, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Edina that said Village shall issue and sell it8 negoti- able coupon sewer warrants in the amount of $8,200 on account of Lateral Sewer District No. 1 and in the amount of $2,200 on account of Lateral Sewer District No. 2, all of said warrants to be dated January 1, 1932, to bear inferest payable annually at the rate to be specified by the purchaser thereof, but not to exceed 6% pel: annum. The warranta on account of Lateral Sewer District No. 1 shall be eighteen (18) in number and numbered from one (1) to eighteen (18), both inclusive, each in the denomination of 8500, except Nos. 9 and 18, which shall be in the denomination of $100 dsbh; and shall mature serially on January 1st in the years and amounts as follows: One Thousand Dollctrs ($1000) in 1933, 1935, 1936, 1939, 1940, and 1941; Six Hundred Dollars ($600) in 1937 and 1942; and Five Hundred Dollar8 (#sOO) in 1934 and 1938. The warrants on account of Lateral Sewer District No. 2 shall be six (6) in number and numbered from one (1) to six (6), both inclusive, in the denomination of $500 each, except Nos. 2 and 5, which shall be in the denomination of LOO each, and shall mature serially Five Hundred Dollars $500 ? in 1934, 1937, 1938, and 1942, and One Hundred Dollars ( 1 100) in 1935 and 1340. BE IT FURTuER RESOLVED that notice of the sale of said warrants shall be given by publication for two weeks in the official newspaper of said Village, which notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF SALE OF SEWER WARRANTS VILLAGE OF EDINA NOTICE IS YEREBY GIVEN' that the Village Council of the Village of Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota, Till meet at Grange Hall in said Village on the 28th day of Decenber, 1931, at 8 o'clock P. M. forthe purpose of considering and accepting bide for the purchase of $10,"40 Sewer Ws?rrants to be issued on account of Lateral Server Districts 1 and 2 of said Village. Each of said warrants specified by the purchaser, but not to exceed 6% per annum, an& ail1 be payable at Midland National Bank and 1 Trust Coqany. MOORE, being the duly elected, qualified, and acting Recorder of the Village of Edina, do hereby certify that I have conpared the attached sod foregoing minutes of a meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Edina held December 8, 1931, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true, and correct copy of the said original minutee -4 in so far as the same relates to Lateral Sewer District8 No. 1 and 2 of said Village. .
