The meeting was called to order by the President, all snernlce rs were present . Applica$ion in form for building permit by T. We Bank to bufld a private dwelling on 10% 14, block 9, Bromdale Park Addition, was on motion Prescott, be granted, sec- onded by Willson and carried. Application in fonn for building permit by Thomas Yureoko to bufld a private garage at 4511 Bruce Avenue, was on motion Blackburn, be granted, seconded by Willson and carried. Application in form for building permit by Ehma S. Lock- wood to build a sun-room addition to present dwelling at 4622 Bruce Avenue, was on motion Blackburn, be granted, seconced by Prescott and carried. Application in form for building permit bp Zary Spande to bufld an addition to present dwelling at 6028 Xerxes Avenue, was on motion Willson, be granted, seconded by Prescott and carried. A comunication to the Council, dated August 31, by D. IT. Wallace advising that there was objection to the continued viblation to the Zoning Ordinance by Fred Stampson at 50th Street and Halifax Avenue, was on motion Noore, be referred to the Village Attorney, seconded by Black burn and carried. The Recorder advised with reference to street lighing survey for the improving of street lighting on Vest 50th Street and moved that the recommendation of the EBinnea- polis General Electric Oompany be concurred in by the installation of one 400 matt lamp on Vest 50th Street be- tween France Avenue and Halifax Avenue. Also one 400 watt light be installed at approximately Indianola Ave- enue and West 50th Street; and that the present 400 Watt lamp at the intersection of Tfooddale Avenue and West 50th Street be changed to one 1000 watt lamp. Motion seconded by Blackburn and carried. . The Miscellaneous Bills, upon being duly examined and . found correct, were on motion Willson be alloved and . ordered mid. Minutes of the adjourned meeting of the August 26 meet- ing, held on August 29 were ready on motion Prescott they be approved as read, seconded by Willson and carried.
