Minutes of the regular meeting of
the Council of the Village of Edina, .held in the Tract Office, 4409 V. 49th Street, on February. 10, 1936, at 8 PI&.
The meeting was called to order by the President, all
mernbers vere present.
The minutes of the regular meeting of the Council, held
on January 27, were read, on motion Blackburn, they be
approved as read, seconded by Villson and carried. sill of Chas. Olson and Sons for repairs to S~OW plow
and Village truck during January were duly examined.
Whereupon it vas moved Prescott that the same be aikldned
and paid, seconded by Villson and carried.
Application by Mrs. John Goodacre to serve on Villa.ge
election board mas read and placed on file a$ application No. 1.
Application by A. C. Statt, president of the Country
Olub, to sell intoxicating liquor at the Country Club
House, mas read. It was moved Hoore that license be
granted for balance of the-year and that license be
computed on the basis of one and two-thirds months.
Hotion seconded by Blackburn and carried.
Application dated January 28 by Pau1.E: Van Kuster,
president of Interlachen Country Club, for renewal
of license to sell intoxicating liquor at the Inter-
lachen Country Club House, accompanied by check €or
$100.00, was on motion Blackburn, be granted, seconded
by Prescott and carried,
Dr. Campbell, Village Health Officer, reported on the
pklysical condition of Harry Vanatta and Frank Slavin, /- on relief and at the Sterling Rest Home, 327 Oak Grove Street, and 8. E. Davis at Glen Lake Sanatarium.
Trustee Blackburn offered Standard Adcident Insurance
Corapany of Detroit, Richigan, Workman's Compensation
and Employers Liability Policy No. 27559, to the
Village of Edina and expiring on February 11, 193&,
mith premium estimated at $559.30, and moved its acceptance. Notion seconded by Preecott and carried.
It was moved Blackburn that the $25.00 cash clean-up
deposit made by H. D. Roach for premises 4526 Casco
Avenue tje returned. Motion seconded by Billson and

, The Road and Village Bills, upon being duly examined
End found correct, were on motion Prescott they oe
allowed and ordered paid, seconded .by Willson and

The Vilhge check protector used by the Treasurer being
almost beyond repair, it was moved Prescott %h&t the
Treasurer be authorized to purchase a ceconditioned
check protector at a cost not to exceed $25.00,
seconded by Willson andcarried.,
No further business to come before the Council, motion to adjourn carried at 11:45 PM.
