VSzSage Health Officer Dr Campbell, appsared before tke Council and read a letter on behalf of the State Board of Health by Dr Chesley, State Csmmisaioner of Health, pert;ainfng to the need for sanitary sewrs in the South Harriet Park district. Dr Chesley ,advising that the above area was only one in the State having trouble on account of poesibility of cssepools drafning into the domstfc water supply. Dr Campbell adviasd that he wouXd not approm any more new consbuction under present conditions and suggested the advisability of a Village Ordinance requfrhg that befor% the Bufld- ing Inspector issue any permit for new construction, that it first be qqmved by the State Board of Heaalth in the matter of domsstic of sanitary sews in the South Harriet Park district. After discussion Trustee Prescott offered the fol- lowing resolution and moved its adoption:. mereas, a due and proper petitdon has bean presented to the Village Council of the Village of Bdina for the vacation of that part .of Lfttle Street in said Village 'iOherea8, notice giving a time and place for the hearing upon said petition ha8 been duly published and posted as provided by law, - and Whereas, it ap@eare to this Village Council now here to be for the best interests of the public so to do, IT RBSOLVSD, that that part of Little StreeL in the aafd Village of Bdina @in@ Istween the South line of Nelson Avenue and the North line of Seth Street, a8 said streets are laid out and located in said Village , and lying Wtween Block0 Seven (7) and Eight (8), Idendelsaohn Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and ~f record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hennegin County, Pinneao'ta, be and the sane is hereby vacated. 'hereinafter described, and the motion to adopt me seconded by Recorder Moore , the vote was upon the question of the adoption of the Resolution, wherein there were five ayes and no nays, and 80 the resolution was de- clared duly adopted. It wa~ thereupon moved by ElIoore, that application be granted, and license re-nemd under new Village Ord- iance adopted January 11, 1937. The motion was aeconded by Holtsn and casried. President Sharp read copy of letter dated January 30, 1937, by &lr Roy Laraen to Mr Von Kuetar, President of the Interlachen Club in the matter of sewage running into Mirror Lake, tog&ther with his reply dated mbruary 8f&, The-President also readhis letter to Hr R. El, Cole, dated Janwxy 27, 1937# regarding charges and services of the Country Club District Service Company as ~11 as letter by Edr Speck suggesting points of settlement of the Ecklwrd matter, all of which ma left with the President to handle, Application waa received from the Hinneapolis Gae Light Company, for pemissien to install a 2" gas nail in and along 0a;klawn Avc., north of Wst 53rd. Street, wherein it 'was so moved by Bdoore, seconded by Villaon and carried. Mf L.
