October BO, 1938, meeting of the
Ccp~ncil of the Village of Edina, held on Qctaber 18, 1938, at the home of
Presiddnt Sharpre, 4612 Edgebrook Place,
at 8’o;’clack €’ET.
The meeting was called to order by President Sharpe,
called and all members of the Council were present.

amamts and the various items and services for last several
years studied carefullly and the findingsarrived at individ- ually. Uter- prolonged study Trustee Prescott moved that
the 1939 Annual ViPla9e Tax Levy for all Village purposes be set at the sum of $80,?75.00, motion toadopt was seconded
by Trustee Willson and the vote was ,upon the question of the
adoption of the motion wBerein there were five ayes and no
nays as follows:
Eoore aye and Sharpe aye, aBd so the mojtion was declared
duly carried.
Holteum aye, Prescott aye, BJillscrmz aye,
Ehe matter of’ spreading assessment for ailing KellcPgg Avenue from Test 52nd. to Xest 54th. Street, was next studied by the
Council, and which bn motion Prescott was set at $200.00,
seccmded by Emre, and carried.
I It was moved by Prescott, that for oiling that part of Schaefer
Road and Interlacker Roiad, as petitioned, that the sum of @300.00
be assessed, seconded by Nmre and duly carried.

It was moved after discussion on SPBW plowing equipment, that
bids be called for one rnuuld bard type snow plow for Village
Dodge 2 tan truck, motion seconded by Holterm and carried, I
No further business to come before this meeting maition to adjourmc carried at 11.45 PM
