The matter of rezoning the Southaast one haIf:(S-&-) of the South half (S*) of Lot 49, Aud%torra Subdn, #l?2 was first discusaed by thoee present and the Council. Mr Herman Olson of the Ninneapolis Planning and Zoning Commission advised that he had contacted all the ormers of pyopennty exeept one, located across the street from the aubject property and that none of the omem so contacted h.ad objections totlbe change. After further discussion it was moved by Irgens, that the matter be continued to the ApriX 22, 1940, meet5r.g of the Council, seconded by Noore and ca,rrfed. The pr0pasitfon to license the operation of Bowling Alleys, next received the Council* s attention. He Adam having submitted plans for alterations and addition to present building located an Lot 1 S%eveBs First Addition, otherwise known a8 the South-'@kst Corner of WB~ 50th Street and Halifax Avenue, which vere satisfactory .to the Council, that the issuing of a building permit subject to the Build ing Ordinance be herewith considered 5s agreeable to the Council, seconded by Noore and carried. After discussion of tM subject and opinion by VilZage Attorney Holten, Trustee Villson mo.ved that the sum of $8,500.00 be trans- fered Prom the General Funds of the Villa&e to the credit of Joint Sewer District Na 1, to be repaid iximediat;ely upon sale of addit- ional Joint Sewer District Nop I'warrants, seconded by Xrgena and c arr ie d, It PCB moved by Home, that the Treasurer be authorized to draw check in amount $8,646,96 against Joint Sewer District No. 1, as tke Village of Edina proportion of construction of Twin City Sew- age DiBpOs3,l plant and Intercepting Sewers for ycnre I934 to 1949 inclusive, seconded by Irgens a,nd carrsbcd, l?o further business to come before the meeting motion to &joum carried at 21.35 PM Village ?%corder
