The meeting was called to order by the President the roll called
and all members of the Council were present.
Village Attorney Holten, presented copy of Court's findings in case of Country Club District Service Go. vs The Village of
Edina, and commented thereon. After discussion by all and in
the presense of more than 20 citizens who mere present, Recarder Eoore moved that the attorneys for the Village be instructed to
file mation for amended findings' or a nem trial, seconded by
Irgens and carried unanimously,
Xessrs, Hadges, KcCwnber, and Bentzen representing the SJ. .so Nett Company, Motor Power Equipment Campany, and Flour City Body
Carp., respectively, appeared at Council's request regarding type
of fire fighting apparatus this Village might purchase. After
general discussion each of the gentlemen mould prepare suggested specifications and mail to Recorder for Camsil's consideration.
Ashley Brooks appeared before the Council far permit or license
to! sperate a 24 hour gasoline statim and a 24 hour taxiscab stand at Pure Oil Station, SE cmner of V. 50th and Halifax
Ave. After discussion it was moved by Irgens that application be held up pending outcome fmxl-bf a nuisance develop
next 30 days, seconded by Xoore and carried.
Several residents sf Vest 56th Street ,Vest sf Wooddale Avenue, appeared to request garbage collection, which mas granted.
D. Gordon Millsop discussed with the Council the proposition of Curb and. Gutter for South Harriet Park.
Eresident reported on rezoning of Lots 29, 30, 31, and 32, Block
3, Grand View Heights duly referred to this meeting of CounciL. After discussion the prcrpositian was duly referred to regular meeting of Council, to:be held on April 14, 1941,

.Mr. S. I. Ryan appeared to request renewal atf license to operate BawXing Alleys and presented check in amount $2.60.00. discussion VJillson moved that granting of license be withheld
pending satisfactory arrangements for parking facilities being
provided for Bowling Alley patrons, all as per original agreement
with the Council, seconded by Maore and carried,
Apglication received fam Carl Olson for renewal QP 3.2 Off Sale Eilt Liquor license accompanied by license fee af d5,OO and duly referred to Police Cummittee.
