regular meeting of the Council of the
Pillage of Edina, duly held in Grange
Hall on my 27, 1941, at 8,99 o'clock €TL
The meeting was called to order by the President, the
roll called and all members of the Council vere present.
The meeting being for the purpose of discussing 'ttlags
and means of furnishing rural fire protection by
local forces.
After considerable discussion of the subject, Trustee
Irgens moved that bids be taken for one 1-$. ton chassis,
500 GI%€ motorized fire department pumper equipped with
a booster tank of several hundred gallons capacity,
hand fire extinguishers, 1000 feet of 2&It double jacket cotton rubber-lined fire hose of Enneapolis standard
quality, 150 feet of 1" hose, ladders, water pump,
tanks and minor fire department considered standard
for apparatus of this type, all supject to the approval
of Pire Underwriters Inspection Bureau, motion was
seconded by Recorder Eoore, and carried.
No further business to come 'before the meeting, motion
to adjourn carried.
