The meeting was called to order by President Sharpe, the roll called and all members of the Ccnuncil were present. The Village Payroll advances as indicated in Time Book Record were carefully noted and found correct, whereupon Trustee Gebo moved they be duly allowed and ordered paid, seconded by Trustee Villson, and carried. The pay roll of Sewer District No. 8, for proceeding pay period was duly examined and found correct, thereupon Trustee ::JiPPson, rioved it be duly allowed and ordered paid, seconded by Trustee Wyatt, and carrired, ?Er Gum, appeared before the Coluncil: to request that 24 hour Taxi-cab service be made avai.lable, Trustee Gebo advised . that the servEce was off after the Taxi's meet the last car , - at 2.30 AA9 thereupon President Sharpe stated he would have % the matter investigated. q Eessrs Gustafson, Dudek and Zipoy, again appeared before tho Crxuncil regarding the widening of Fuller Strest, east of zrauzoc Avenue. After discussion, '9hairmaa VilLson suggested that Engineer Smithmake a survey of the job to determine the amount I of earth fill required and ather details. *I Xessrs Patsey, Iransidss and Camp%all, living in the neighbor- hood of Abott and 3est 56th Street, advised the Council that they vtere interested in Eczwer insurance rates for their area. after discussion it was agreeable for the Recorder to take the _. matter up with the General Inspection Bureau of Bire Underwriters. Xessrs Peterson and Pardae, requested that Bruce Avenue from 50th to 52nd Streets be oiled, Engineer Smith advised that skreet oil was frozen by G4vernmen.t order and that only such oil could be used as was directed. That he could scarify the street if agreeable to the residents. After discussion 'the matter mas left vith Engineer Smith, who mould endeavor to work out a satisfactory proaeedure. Er .Andexpop and other'resideats of Tower Avenue and West 56th Stre'et, were interested in having their streets graded. Chair- started. After discussion the matter was left with Engineer Smith, to work out a reasonably satisfaceory plan to take care of \?est 56th Street, ilrest of Wooddale and Tower Street, north of Vest 56th Street. Repart of Vard 33. Tresaurar Duggan, presented paid interest coupons in the amount of $360.00 for Vatermain Inprosement #1, togather with $71.47 for Lateral Sewer District #5, $28.08 for Sewer District #6 and $373.75 for Lateral Sewer District #7, which were give= ta Engineer Smith to place in Village safe. It was tentatively agreed&-the Cau&il would meet with members of the Public Examiners Office on October 8th, whereupon the President declared the meeting recessed to meet agaFn at the', same tine and place at the call of,the PGesident . - .
