AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE EDINA CITY CODE
CONCERNING THE USE OF TOBACCO IN CITY PARKS
THE CITY OF EDINA ORDAINS:
Section 1. Chapter 12 of the Edina City Code is amended by adding Section 1230.11 to
provide as follows:
1230.11 Tobacco Use Prohibited in Public Parks. In addition to the requirements of
Subsections 1230.02 and 1230.03,the use of tobacco in any form is prohibited in public
parks, indoor or outdoor.
Section 2. This ordinance is effective immediately upon its passage and publication.
First Reading: February 6, 2012
Second Reading: February 21, 2012
