Chairman Strachauer of +?le Eomd of Park Commissioners presented to the Council
a reconmendation for accep'cai ce of tile follotring Resolqtion adoi3t ed unanimously

ffr. Fitzgerald reviewed for the Council the Estimates of Cost for the acquisition
of land and its maintenance.
Clerk Banlr asked as to Irhether consideration had been given to an indoor sv,w
pool, inasmuch as an ou'cdoor pool muld be used not more than 90 &3s per year;
to which qestion Dr. Fitzgerald replied that an indoop pool presents problem
of traffic; t3at such a pool is usually in conjunction with school ackivities and
is not a-ailable to the &ul-i; population; and that such a pool muld be virrJCudly
useless durchg the sur~ek.
