Council menbers present mre Bridesen, Chlld-kd 'Danens, meeting in conjunction
with School Board, -
Meeting was held with regard to the handling of the road situation South of
Concord School. The School Board stated that they did not see any obligation
to make any changes In the road to favor one platter. Council Wormed them that it wasnrt one developer, but three, and that a long period of study had
been given to this mtter; and %ha% the plan offered seemed to be the only
logical plan; that this is a case of either working out a plan which td3.3, -
presen-k plats 02 ma;ldmum tax advantage to the village, or making undes9rable .
plats vhich w5ll be to no advantage.
At this the Hrs, Richards brought up the makter of lack of cooperation by
Village Council w5th regard to School Board9.s application for change in bus
loading zone at Wooddale School. She was informed that no formal reyest had
been made to the..Council. until last week, and then no% to the Council but to
the Public Works Committee,
1-ienibers present that the Wooddale School Plan was entirely t.rith.in the boundaries
of School Property, and teat the (30unci.l. yould approve the changes and felt that
thezvere pot further interested as this is a School matter entirely, School
Board asked permission for construction of curb and were told this would take
just the regular perdt,
Followirig this discussion, School Bard came to the conclusion thatAiI" the
Council pal Mom the Board in writing that the4ouncil believes that the plan'
for the road Is a necessity and-that it can be accomplished without cost to the
School bad; and that a fence trill be erected on the South side of the property
so that. the children cannot get into the road, the School Boardwill approve the
plan as"offered. * "
