I&., Danens brought up the question that the road on Bernard Place between 56th.Street and 300 feet South *had never been graded or graveled, sewer’ and water have just .been installed at this location, the street is in need of inmediate repairs. on its om motion, set a hearing.for September 27 forthe grading and graveling of this 300 foot stretch of Bernard Place, Motion carried. Hmager Hitchell reported that Nr, Gerber of the Street RaiLizay Co. had called regarding the possibility of installing a bus on 50th between France he. and either Bryant or Nicollet Ave., thence dovmtovm and return. The Streetcas Go, was asking permission to handle their. turn-around as follows:. Buses traveling West on 50th Street vould proceed on 50th to -Halifax; thence North to 49.i Street, aqd tmnted pernission to park their buses across from the Post Office and next to the ice.house, trip they would proceed to France Ave., turn South, and then turn ‘Nest and go down 50th into I-finneapolis. ~ On their return $Etchell. reported that he asked the Street Car Co.-to consider an extw&ion of the bus further into Eldina, possibly-as far-as the New Village Hall or up to the Grandv%ew Shopping Area. further and see what they could do to bring it into effect, ,.however, it is not a part of the plan that he described earlier. grant permission to the Bus Company to park their buses across from the Post Office -jn the manner described.
