Pro-Tem child presided in Nayor Brickson% absence.
Affidavits were presented showing publickion in the Edina-Hornhgside Courier
and in the Commercial West of notice of sale of $540,000 Improvement Bonds of
1954, Second Series, and $65,000 Southdale Bprovernznt Bonds, Second Series,
sealed bids fop which Irere directed by the Council to be opened and considered
at this meetillg. Said affidavits were exam~n * ed, found satisfactory and directed .
.to be placed on file in the office of the Clerk, and upon motion duly madeo
seconded and casried.the terms and provjsions of said bond issue, as set fort$
in said pubEshed notice of sale, were approved, rateied and-confirmed.

Decder 1, 1954, alld all bids received pursuant to such pyblished notice
have been duly exanrined and considered and the highest and best bid received
for the purchase of said bonds is hereby found and determined to be that of
and associates named therein, to purchase said bonds at a price of par and
accrued interest plus a prdm of @ the bonds to bear ilnkrest
at the rate of 2s3XL Av. % per am, and the Nayor and the Vijlzge Clerk
me hereby authorized and directed to make and enter into a conkract on fihe
par% of the Village for the sale of said bonds to said bidder upon said termss
retained by the Village Treasurer pending preparation and delivery of the bonds
