HELD MONDAY, JULY 29, 1957, AT 5:OO P.Al.
JULY 15TH EDINA BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING,
AT THE VILLAGE HALL.
Council Members Dickson, Tupa and Fronk met as the Board of Review, with Fronk
presiding.
Village Assessor Creighton submitted for review his Books of Valuation for the
year 1957, showing Personal Property Valuation at $2,420,260.00 (a 5% increase
over 19561, and Real Estate Valuation at $L9,195,103.00, for a Total Valuation
of $21 615,363 00.
No one was present to object to the valuations; and, after neview of the books
by the Board, Tupa moved that Books of Valuation for the Year 1957 be approved
as submitted. Alotion seconded by Dickson and carried.
Meeting adjourned at 5:30 P.M., by common consent of Board of Review.

Members answering Rollcall were Dickson, Tupa and Fronk, with Wayor Pro Tem Fronk
presiding in Mayor Bredesen's absence.
LAKE PAMELA PARK MASTER PLAN APPROVED. Messrs Weatherbee and Stevens of the Park
Board were present, with Parks and Recreation Director French, to submit for
Council's consideration the "hlaster Plan" for Lake Pamela Park, as set forth in
a sketch by Harrison S, Associates, entitled "Lake Pamela Park, Preliminary Sketch
No. 2, Revised 6/57".
!?eatherbee and Stevens recommended its approval. It was pointed out that, before
grading operations can be completed, a plan for the entire area should be formu-
lated, in order that money is not uselessly expended; also, that, until the
grading is finished the Board will not know how far it can proceed in "Stage One"
of development, as authorized under the present bond issue.

ESessrs. French and Hyde informed the Council that they
h1UNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS SYSTEM ESTABLISHED. Council reviewed and discussed
the recommendations of Village Engineer Zikan for establishment of the hqunicipal
State Aid Streets System necessary for Village participation in the State Highvlay
Users Tax Distribution Fund. Pursuant to some recommendations by f,!anager Hyde,
and assent by Engineer Zikan, it was decided to make some changes in the original
plan, namely - 1. To eliminate Xerxes Avenue from W.54th St. to South Village
Limits, and FJ.76th Street from Xerxes Avenue to France Avenue. 2. To add 1'!.70th
Street from Highway No. 100 to Antrim Road; Antrim Road from W.7Oth Street to
Valley View Road; Valley View Road from Antrim Road to Hansen Road; and Hansen
Road from Valley View to Highway No. 169.
