‘Art for the Garden’ Exhibition to Open in Margaret Foss Gallery
Edina, Minn., March 7, 2018 – Spring is arriving in Minnesota! The Edina Art Center welcomes the season
by transforming its Margaret Foss Gallery into a space of flora and fauna. The “Art for the Garden” exhibition
features an array of enchanting artwork, ranging from richly colored floral paintings and quiet watercolor
scenes to whimsical garden sculptures and botanical-inspired jewelry. Artists include Mary Bacon, Kimber
Fiebiger, Joel Kaplan, Jim Maki, Mindy Sisk, Adama Sow, and Susan Storck.
An opening reception for the exhibition will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the Edina Art Center’s
Margaret Foss Gallery, 4701 W. 64th St. The gallery and opening reception are free and open to the public.
The exhibition can be viewed during regular business hours, 9 a.m.-8p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-5
p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday from April 26 to May 23.
“Join us as we celebrate spring with Edina Art Center’s annual ode to warmer weather, bright colors and the
love of things green and in the garden,” said General Manager Michael Frey.
