500@ Johnson Urive, supported the petition he filed, protesting recent action by
the Council approving the Highway Department's plans for the .relocation of Highway
IJo. 169 frcm Hansen Road south, on the grounds that "the action taken was arbitrary;
without any regard or consultation with the property owners involved, and because
of the decline in value that will occur to our property". Manager Hyde reviewed
for )Are Boerger the history of the Council's action; and to Mr. Boerger's question
on the reason for the action, Jdr. Hyde replied that action was taken principally
because this proposed route will take less residential property than any of the
others proposed and will be economical to construct.
