MINUTES OF THE IvIEETING OF THE EDINA BOARD
OF EVIEW, HELD WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 1964,
AT 5:OO P.M., AT THE
EDINA VILLAGE HALL
Council i4embers I4acTVlillan, Rixe and Tupa acted as the Board of Review, with
Tupa presiding.
Board his record of Record of Valuations for the Year 1964.
Supervisor of Assessments was also present at the Meeting.
Village Assessor Donald Kearns was present,to submit to the
Hennepin County
Meeting was convened promptly at 5:OO P.M., pursuant to llNotice of Board of
Review Meeting" published in Edina-Morningside Courtier June 25 and July 2, 1964,
and posted on Official Village Bulletin Boards.
No one appeared before the Board to complain that the property of another had
been assessed too low, or who considered himself aggrieved by the assessment of
his own property.
Ur. Kearns presented to the Board a report entitled "Recap of Progress Report
for Assessment Roll for 1964", which was discussed briefly.
that because of the change from the old !'book" form of record to the new IBI4
run he is behind schedule and is not finished with his record, but feels that
total Property Assessed Value for the year 1964 should be about $35,700,000.
Because the record was not complete, MacI4illan moved that Board of Review
Mr. Kearns explained
